Sunrise is the recommendation from every professional Paris photographer, and for good reason. The esplanade is nearly empty, the light is golden and directional, and you have Trocadero to yourselves. In summer, that means arriving around 6:30 AM. Worth every minute of the early alarm.

Trocadero is the most iconic and your partner will recognize it instantly. For more privacy, the riverside by the Champ de Mars is quieter. Bir-Hakeim bridge is covered and works even in rain, great as a backup plan. Avenue de Camoens is secret and romantic. Your photographer can advise based on your style.

The ideal duration depends on the locations you want to cover and your preferences. The area offers great diversity, from the Trocadero esplanade to Bir-Hakeim bridge and the Seine riverbanks. We plan the itinerary together during the preparation of your session to adapt the route to your style and the light conditions. Packages combining sunrise at Trocadero with other spots in the area are also very popular for honeymoons.

Soft, flowing dresses in neutral or pastel tones photograph beautifully against the Eiffel Tower. Avoid overly busy patterns. For men, a well-fitted blazer or smart casual works perfectly. Comfortable shoes are important because cobblestones around Bir-Hakeim are uneven.

The Tower sparkles every hour on the hour after dark and the view is incredible. For personal photos, this is perfectly fine. For commercial use such as prints for sale or commercial campaigns, the nighttime lights are copyrighted and require authorization. Your photographer can advise.
